About Linda

lindasnyderCurrently a business development consultant, I offer a multifaceted approach to solution seeking entrepreneurs and organizations.  My consulting role is custom tailored to individual business needs and covers all scopes of business from startup to reinvention in areas of merchandising, décor and design, employee training and retention, marketing and sales.

Most recently, I was owner and operator of “The UPS Store” located in the Fremont district of Seattle. Recognized nationally as a “Model Store” and chosen for the National Launch of the brand, my store opened as the first “The UPS Store” in the franchise organization. Selected as a training center for new store owners in the Northwest, I also participated on several regional and national committees for the franchise.

Previously a key executive for a privately owned department store with 30 locations throughout the Northwest and Northern California with more than 1400 employees and over $150MM in sales.  As General Manager, I developed the long-range mission for Company operations (sales, marketing, training, employee retention and customer service) while guiding tactical plans that supported market growth from 20 to 30 stores maintaining consistently improved same-store sales growth. As Sr. VP Store Operations, I directed and managed store design and store openings and initiated remodel strategies and execution of projects…twice leading the team that opened 35,000 square foot stores in less than 40 days; lease-signing, remodel, staffing, stocking to ribbon-cutting. Early in my career as a Divisional Merchandise Manager I developed the company’s first import program.

I believe in giving back to community. As an active member of the Chamber of Commerce, President of the Board of Directors for Goodwill Industries, Chairperson Board of Directors, for McKenzie-Willamette Hospital Foundation and Chairwoman, Children’s Miracle Network Board, PeaceHealth Regional Medical Center, Festival of Trees Sponsor and Decorator, Event Chair and worker bee on too many committees to even remember…I have personally been blessed by receiving far more than I would ever be able to give.
